Cleveland to pay Tamir Rice’s family $6 million: The settlement of the civil lawsuit comes 17 months after a Cleveland police officer shot and killed 12-year-old boy and five months after a grand jury declined to indict that officer. Under the deal, Cleveland does not admit to any wrongdoing.

‘Deflategate’ is back: A U.S. appeals court has ruled in favor of the NFL and restored New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game suspension. The decision may end the legal debate over the scandal involving under-inflated footballs in the AFC Championship game in January 2015 between the Patriots and the Colts.

Brussels metro station reopens: Maelbeek was one of two locations targeted by ISIS militants last month. Sixteen people were killed in the attack at the station.
