A stabbing rampage in Tel Aviv: A Palestinian attacker stabbed and killed a U.S. citizen and wounded 10 others in the Israeli city before being fatally shot by police, less than a mile from where Vice President Joe Biden spoke today at a center for peace in Jaffa. The American was identified as Taylor Force, a 29-year-old graduate student at Vanderbilt University and an Army veteran who was visiting Israel on a school trip. Force’s wife was severely injured in the attack, The Times of Israel reports. Earlier in the day, two Israeli police officers were injured in a drive-by shooting in Jerusalem and an Israeli man was stabbed in the neck in Petah Tikva.
