Turkey blames Syrian Kurd for Ankara attack: The prime minister said the man was identified as Sahih Neccar, a member of YPG, the Syrian Kurdish group. He said Neccar carried out the attack with the help of Turkey’s outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). All but two of the 28 people killed in the attack on a military convoy were soldiers.
Cliven Bundy indicted: The charges against the Nevada rancher, and four others, stem from his armed standoff in 2014 with federal authorities. The charges include conspiracy to commit an offense against the U.S.; conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer; using and carrying a firearm in relation to a crime of violence; assault on a federal officer; threatening a federal law enforcement officer; obstruction of the due administration of justice; interference with interstate commerce by extortion; interstate travel in aid of extortion.
