What We're Following This Morning

Iran releases American sailors: Tehran said the two patrol boats and 10 sailors had strayed into Iranian waters. State-run Press TV reported that the sailors were freed after the U.S. apologized. The U.S. side has not commented yet. Iran appears to have accepted the explanation that one of the boats had experienced mechanical trouble en route to Bahrain from Kuwait, The New York Times reports.  Update: More here

Obama’s last State of the Union: David notes that the president achieved what his aides promised he’d do last night: frame his own legacy for the historians, and “eschew the standard litany of policy ideas in favor of a broader look at the future.”

The Rams are headed back to LA: It’ll be the city’s first NFL team since 1995, when the Rams moved to St. Louis. The team plans to build a nearly $3 billion facility in nearby Inglewood. Update: More here
