‘Pharma Bro’ is arrested: Federal agents arrested Martin Shkreli at his Manhattan home on Thursday morning in connection with securities fraud. He was charged with two counts of securities fraud, three counts of conspiracy to commit securities fraud, and two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

No ‘specific and credible’ threat of an attack: President Obama visited the National Counterterrorism Center in Virginia as part of an effort to calm a nervous public following deadly attacks in San Bernardino and Paris. He said there was no credible threat of an attack on the U.S., but “we have to be vigilant.” Update: More here

Charges expected in San Bernardino attack: Multiple news organizations are reporting that federal prosecutors plan to charge Enrique Marquez, who they say purchased assault weapons used in the deadly attack this month. Marquez is a friend and former neighbor of Syed Rizwan Farook, the man who, along with his wife, Tashfeen Malik, killed 14 people and wounded 21 others. Charges could come as early as today, reports say.
