Stepping up attacks: Russia says it launched 26 missiles against the Islamic State in Syria from four warships located about 900 miles away in the Caspian Sea, increasing the force of its offensive against the group. Eleven targets were hit and destroyed, said Russia’s defense minister Sergei Shoigu. Last week, Russia began its military intervention in Syria on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad. The answer is still no: SABMiller, for the third time, rejected a bid from AB InBev. The bid this time was for $104 billion.
