Kolkota overpass collapse, cont’d: Police in the Indian city opened a case of culpable homicide against the company that was building the overpass. At least 23 people were killed and the prospect of finding survivors is dimming.

The state of employment: Economists are forecasting 205,000 jobs were created in March. The Labor Department will announce the number this morning. Update: 215,000 jobs were added. The jobless rate rose slightly to 5 percent. The report is here.
