EU deal on migrants to be put to Turkey: Under the proposed agreement, all migrants and refugees traveling to Greece from Turkey would be sent back to Turkey. For every person returned, the EU will accept a Syrian who is now in a refugee camp in Turkey. In exchange, Turkey would get financial aid and its citizens would get visa-free access to Schengen countries.

North Korea fires ballistic missiles: The launches came a day after the U.S. strengthened its sanctions against Pyongyang in response to January’s nuclear test and satellite launch. The medium-range missiles flew about 500 miles before falling into the water, the BBC reports.
