Taliban attack in Kabul: Militants attacked a guesthouse popular with foreigners in the Afghan capital’s embassy district. Several casualties have been reported in the area, including a Spanish policeman at the country’s embassy. Update: Spanish officials say the officer was killed.

A decision on fantasy sports sites: A New York judge has upheld the state attorney general’s injunction barring FanDuel and Draftkings from doing business in New York state. Lawyers for the two fantasy sports sites said they would appeal the decision.
