There’s a bunch of flyover states I can’t name under there:
A massive winter storm, seen from the Suomi NPP satellite’s VIIRS instrument on November 30, 2015, continues to crawl across the Midwest today after dumping almost nine inches of snow in parts of Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa on Monday. The third major snow storm to hit the area in two weeks has brought a dangerous combination of snow, ice and high winds. Several winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are in effect across portions of South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin today. Several Plains states have seen several days of bad weather. A cold front brought rain, sleet, and ice storms to Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas over Thanksgiving. At least 15 people died, mostly in car accidents on icy roads or as a result of heavy floods. The coming snowstorm described in the caption will be the area’s third heavy snowfall in less than two weeks.
