Paris attacks aftermath: French authorities say they have identified two more suicide bombers involved in Friday’s deadly attacks on the French capital, including one who shared the same name name as a Syrian national who passed through Greece last month. Authorities are conducting a massive manhunt for those who planned and carried out the attack, as well as their accomplices. Update: More here

Japan slips into a recession: The world’s third-largest economy contracted 0.8 percent in the third quarter of the year. It shrunk 0.7 percent in the second quarter. Two back-to-back quarterly contractions is commonly considered a technical recession.

A tornado in California: A rare tornado hit the central California town of Denair on Sunday. Damage was reported to the town, but there were no reports on injuries.
