Migrants: Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel says Germany can take in at least 500,000 asylum-seekers a year. Europe is facing its most severe migrant crisis since World War II, and Germany is the favored destination for many of the people fleeing civil war and other unrest. Update: More here.

Drone strike: Britain said it killed three suspected ISIS members, including two of its own citizens, in a strike inside Syria. Monday’s announcement marks the first time the U.K. has carried out an armed drone strike.
