Longtime skydiving fanatic and former President George H.W. Bush is celebrating his 90th birthday with a parachute jump in Maine on Thursday, the same way he celebrated in 2009, 2007, 2004, and 1999, at least.
This will be Bush's eighth parachute jump overall, and he'll be decked out in a personalized outfit, his spokesman Jim McGrath tweeted.
The AP Images archives have plenty of photos of Bush's past leaps from on high. And also one of Bruce Willis mocking the president's penchant for jumps.
In 2009, Bush took a jump for his 85th birthday with the Army Golden Knights.
In 2007, Bush jumped in College Station, Texas as part of a rededication of his presidential museum.
In 2004, Bush's celebrated his 80th birthday with a jump. It was tiring.
In 1999, Bush jumped into Texas to mark his 75th birthday.
That was enough to make Bruce Willis make fun of the ex-President at a Bush birthday gala a few days later.
In 1997, Bush took a jump in a technicolor dream-parachute over Arizona with the Army Golden Knights.
Thumbs up for the 90-year-old.
