Giants Beat Patriots in Super Bowl
Eli Manning guided the New York Giants to a Super Bowl victory, in a game decided by a final-minute touchdown by Ahmad Bradshaw.
The New York Giants have once again snatched victory from the hands of the New England Patriots, beating them 21-17 in a Super Bowl clinched by a touchdown in the final minute of play by running back Ahmad Bradshaw. The team's win against New England, a repeat of their 2008 match-up, elevates Eli Manning to quarterback-deity status. Manning was named most valuable player, just as he was four years ago. Pity his rival, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who walked away with his "head bowed, holding his helmet," Sports Illustrated reports.
