Today we discovered that hearing voices in your head is totally normal, as long as its while your reading. While going through over dialogue, readers tend to recreate the voice of the speaker reading in their head. You would think that imagining Hermione or Obama would make reading more fun, but not for at least one reader. It can be a deal-breaker for commenter christine2010, especially if the writer has an especially annoying voice:
This happens to me all of the time. There have been journalist/authors that I have ceased to read - not because I didn't like their copy but because I didn't like their voice.
