The U.S. government has promised to treat Bin Laden's body with respect, and in accordance with Muslim tradition. On the other hand, it seems likely that the U.S. will feel compelled to allow photographs to be taken of his face (reports indicate that he was shot in the head, but not where in the head, or if his face was damaged), if nothing else to try to tamp down the inevitable conspiracy theories already brewing in various fevered minds. I would expect these photographs to come soon, so that the body could be handled for burial soon after.
