Fox Nation vs. Media Matters: No, YOU Misquoted the Bible

The White House stressed that the President's National Prayer Breakfast speech wasn't intended to clarify religious affiliation. But, nevertheless, Obama affirmed his commitment to Christianity as a "sustaining force" with these words: "when Michelle and I hear our faith questioned from time to time, we are reminded that ultimately what matters is not what other people say about us but whether we're being true to our conscience and true to our God."

Naturally, a day after the personal speech, Media Matters and Fox Nation have a slightly different takes on the material. Fox Nation alleges that Obama "misquoted a familiar Bible verse" during the speech, while Media Matters' Ben Dimiero countered that Fox Nation appears "unfamiliar with the fact that there is more than one version of the Bible," and that not everyone still relies on King James.
