Jonathan Adler points to stories which suggest that the TSA may have dialed back the security this weekend in order to avoid unpleasantness. If true, then like Adler, I think this is unlikely to help much; only 20% of airports currently have the backscatter machines. If the TSA keeps rolling forward with what Gene Healy has dubbed the "freedom fondle", I predict they're going to meet more, um, resistance.
