The ad itself is pretty weird. This McDonald's commercial from France shows a slightly uncomfortable conversation between a man and his closeted son, who has just gotten off the phone with his boyfriend. "Come as you are," the ad concludes.
A few commentators are scratching their heads over this one, as Time's Dan Fletcher admits, covering the oddity, but Bill O'Reilly takes it to a new level. "Does it make you hungry to watch that?" he demands of Fox anchor Jane Skinner. "All right so look they want to make a political statement selling burgers, they're entitled to it," he says later, but "it'll never run in the USA." Thus warmed up, he adds: "do they have an al-Qaeda ad? 'Come as you are?'"
