Memo to Mr. Frost

On “A-Wishing Well” April, 1960, Atlantic

Robert, I think you’ll find your moon
Up with the old one, pretty soon —
Even bigger, twice as bright.
Rounding earth six times a night —
But I doubt your added satellite
Will rock you with your dreamed delight.
I mean, no matter which side wins
(And disregarding relative sins).
I’m sure some sputnik in this race
Will wear a hammer-and-sickle face
And Madison Avenue, too, will loal a
Moon that reads, “Drink Coca Cola.”
