A GOETHE HOUSE IN NEW YORK CITY
Sponsored by a group of Americans under the chairmanship of John J. McCloy, a Goethe House is being opened at 120 East 56th Street which will serve as a center for the development of cultural ties between the people of Germany and those of the United States. Goethe House will have a library of German literature, art, and history, and will sponsor exhibits and films.
