The Renewal Series

January 1, 2016
Washington, D.C.

The Great Recession upended expectations about economic security in the U.S. and changed the way we work and live. This initiative asks how Americans are adapting.

The Renewal Series of policy forums and thought leader roundtables explored how even in the face of a political stalemate, grassroots entrepreneurs are taking the lead in finding creative solutions to the country's most pressing social and economic challenges. Atlantic Media embarked on a nationwide search to identify and highlight these pragmatic problem solvers from among local government, nonprofit groups, small businesses and citizens.
