Democrats convened in Philadelphia to officially nominate their candidate for the 2016 presidential election, with the aim of retaining the White House and retaking control of Congress. The Atlantic gathered key campaign staffers, lawmakers, local officials, leading pollsters and political strategists for a range of events to discuss issues of consequence to everyday Americans and shed light on the vision and policy goals of the Democratic nominee.
The Atlantic relocated to a popular bar in the heart of Center City where we hosted a series of briefings and events daily throughout convention week. Check back regularly for information about other events that will be added to the schedule.
