City Makers Summit

June 1, 2016

Chicago is home to one of the world’s leading economies. Despite this, it faces many of the same challenges that continue to trouble cities around the world. Instead of relying entirely on the public sector to respond, Chicago’s business community is partnering with nonprofits and civic leaders to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing the Windy City. What innovative ideas and partnerships are working to create livable, sustainable and economically vibrant communities within Chicago? How is the business and nonprofit community driving growth and creating economic opportunity? What can we all learn from the Chicago story?
