The Education Summit

The Education Summit

Education lays the foundation for our culture, democracy, and economy. The past two and a half years have revealed and exacerbated the significant issues and challenges facing our students, teachers, and society. Many students struggle with mental health, teachers feel burned out, the opportunity gap has widened, and college enrollment has declined. But these challenges have also spurred a renewed focus on finding sustainable solutions and reimagining a more equitable education system designed for the future.

The Atlantic gathered educators, students, and policy makers to discuss the most pressing challenges, workable solutions, and how we can build an education system that centers on equity and innovation and prepares students to succeed in the future workforce.
