One day after meetings between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Belarus, more Russian troops reportedly streamed in eastern Ukraine to fight.

wandered into Ukraine "by mistake" while on patrol. On Wednesday, however, Ukrainian officials said there were more Russian troops operating in eastern Ukraine, this time in army vehicles.

The Ukrainian military said on Wednesday that more Russian soldiers had crossed the border into eastern Ukraine, entering the small town of Amvrosiyivka in five armored infantry carriers and a truck.

Despite the characterization of top-level meetings between Russia and Ukraine as "productive," developments on the ground foreshadow more trouble, tension, and further escalation.

On Wednesday, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk warned that Russia plans to cut off the gas flow to Europe in the middle of the coming winter as the head of NATO said that soldiers would be deployed for the first time at new bases in Eastern Europe to counter Russia movements.
