A massive whale shark that may be among the largest fish ever caught, was pulled from the waters off Pakistan yesterday. The giant fish wasn't actually caught as much as it was hauled out of the water by Karachi fisherman after being spotted dead in the Arabian Sea. An exact measurement hasn't been given, but all estimates put it at around 40 feet (about the size of school bus), while largest confirmed whale shark on record was over 41 feet and weighed more than 47,000 pounds. Crowds overwhelmed the Karachi docks hoping to see the massive fish before it was auctioned for several thousand dollars. You can see more pictures of the giant animal here.
