The Navy SEAL raid that freed an American and a Dane from Somali captors spooked other Somalis holding an American, who now say they'll kill the hostage if they're attacked. Sounds like this hostage is going to have a rough time of things from here on out. The nervous captors have already moved him three times since the raid on Tuesday, they told the Associated Press. The Somalis sound pretty determined to make money of the kidnapping or die in the process:
“If they try again we will all die all together,” warned Hassan Abdi, a Somali pirate connected to the gang holding the American. “It’s difficult to hold U.S. hostages, because it’s a game of chance: die or get huge money. But we shall stick with our plans and will never release him until we get a ransom.”
