You Can't Please Everyone

Philip Gourevitch writes to say that I've slandered I'm insufficiently appreciative of an important Jewish holiday: "Tu b'Shvat? Why dump on Tu b'Shvat? What on earth harm did Tu b'Shvat ever do to you?"

He's right, of course. I shouldn't degrade Tu b'Shvat. In fact, I think I'm going to try to line up Mitch McConnell to write a special Tu b'Shvat song.
