A Day in the Life of a Family-Run Dairy Farm
The Perennial Plate, a web series about sustainable food, visits an Ohio dairy farm run by an Apostolic family with eight children
The Perennial Plate, a web series about sustainable food created by Daniel Klein and Mirra Fine, documents the road trip of a lifetime: touring the country in search of locally grown, delicious food. In this episode, God's Country, they visit an organic dairy farm in Ohio, run by an Apostolic family with eight children. Klein and Fine describe their two days there:
There’s the quote along the lines of: “Christianity is great, too bad it has never been practiced.” Well in the case of the Stoller family, it has. We really fell in love with these Ohio dairy farmers. They are the real deal and I hope you enjoy these 10 minutes with them as much as we did our two days.
Klein talks about the epic, two-year project in an interview here, and you can watch more episodes of the series here.
