Keira Knightley is going through a crisis and shacking up with Chloe Grace Moretz in the trailer for Lynn Shelton's latest, Laggies. Knightley, working a pretty impressive American accent, is a flailing 20-something who decides to pal around with a teenager played by Moretz. She also gets involved with Moretz's father, played by Sam Rockwell, who is always a welcome presence.
In a Hollywood Reporter review out of Sundance, John DeFore called Laggies the "most movie-like movie Shelton has made," given its starry cast and lack of improv. It's also Shelton's first film that she didn't also write, at least in part, herself.
