Only one person will be able to buy the physical copy of Wu-Tang Clan's upcoming album The Wu – Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, but you can hear the first 51 seconds now.
To refresh: Wu-Tang is only selling a single copy of Once Upon A Time in Shaolin, and the only way anyone who is not the lucky buyer will be able to hear the whole thing is during the group's tour of museums and art galleries, where the album will be played on headphones. It's going to be kept very exclusive. But after sending writer Zack O'Malley Greenberg to meet up with Shaolin producer Tarik "Cilvaringz" Azzougarh, Forbes has a short preview of the album, with Ghostface Killah rapping.
Oh right, that is Cher you hear at the end of the clip (from an unnamed track) that Azzougarh plays. The singer appears on two of the album's 31 tracks, apparently, because why not? If you're going to make a single-copy, "work of art" album, it better have awesome surprise guests like Cher. And if Cher vocals don't make you want to pony-up the likely millions of dollars it will take to buy Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, nothing will.
