Rumors of a Seinfeld reunion of sorts have being swirling for a while, and today Jerry himself lent some sort of clarity to the situation when appearing on a radio show this morning. Here's what the Seinfeld reunion won't be, according to Seinfeld himself.
After Seinfeld, Jason Alexander (a.k.a. George Costanza), and Larry David were spotted at Tom's Restaurant, which stood in for Monk's on the show, the New York Daily News reported that they were possibly there for a Super Bowl commercial. That is not the case.
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee
Before the Super Bowl rumors started, Gothamist speculated that they were filming an episode of Seinfeld's web series, Comedians in Cars getting coffee. But no!
Then again Seinfeld could also simply be messing with us all. He also said today that it's "not not those things, either. It’s a secret project." Is that the project he referenced on Reddit, which may be a play? Well, Seinfeld revealed that "it was filmed" and that Alexander was playing George.
So really, who knows at this point.
