For last year's Golden Globes, hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey created their own Globes drinking game during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. This year, they've updated it. Some of Fey and Poehler's rules from last year involve drinking when "an actress cries in a speech" and when someone says "I didn't prepare anything." This year, they've gotten even more creative. Per an interview with Marisa Guthrie this year, here are the new rules:
Fey: Any time you see a gown with sleeves, you're going to drink. Any time they cut to Tom Hanks for a reaction shot, do five push-ups and you will be ripped by the end of the ceremony.
Poehler: So now I'm just writing a joke for you that I might want to use for the show. How about this for a drinking game? Every time I drink, everybody at home should drink. And if Bryan Cranston speaks, everybody has to do a little bit of meth. Just a touch, because that's all you need, just a touch.
So you got that? Drink when you see a gown with sleeves or when Amy drinks, do pushups for Hanks, and have some meth on hand for when Bryan Cranston speaks. (Note, earlier in the interview, Fey predicted a lot of sleeves because almost all the best actress drama nominees are nearly or over 40.) You'll be healthy and fucked up if you adhere to this! Thanks Amy and Tina.
