FX loves Louis C.K. First, the network gave him some time off to make the fourth season of Louie as funny as it can be, and now, he's made a deal with the network to develop new series.

Nellie Andreeva of Deadline reports that C.K. and his production company Pig Newton are now in cahoots with the network to work on new projects. According to Andreeva, C.K. "would have the option to write or direct any of them and will executive produce."

As we mentioned, FX has been kind to C.K. The network gives him an incredible amount of freedom to produce Louie, and afforded him the "luxury" (his words) of some hiatus time before making the series' upcoming season, which is now due out in May 2014. Future collaboration should only spell good things.
