Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed on the field at halftime during tonight's game against the Indianapolis Colts. While he did not have a heart attack or lose consciousness, and was seen speaking with attendants on the field at the time, he was loaded onto a stretcher and taken to a local hospital for the remainder of the game.

There was some confusion when Kubiak went down, and NBC Sports was faced with decision about whether or not to proceed with their halftime show or stay with a breaking story, either of which would viewers wanting.

Some found the network's coverage of Kubiak as shameless.

Others thought that the network handled a breaking news situation tactfully.

While the Texans were up 21-3 at the half, they ended up losing to the Colts 27-24.
