Don't worry, you'll be watching Katniss and friends kill people until 2015. Also don't worry about Seth Meyers, he's probably not replacing Regis. But do worry about Savannah Guthrie. She's not exactly a hit.

Lionsgate has announced the release dates for the final two Hunger Games movies, which will be the third book in the kids-killing-each-other trilogy split in two. The Hunger Games Saga — Mockingjay: Part 1 (or whatever title it's going to have) will come out on Andrew Sullivan's blog November 21st, 2014, and The Hunger Games Saga — 2 Mocking 2 Jay will drop on November 20th, 2015. 2015! Haha, nobody's going to be alive in 2015. That's ridiculous. OK, sure, I'll put my coffin on the hoverbus and ride it right over to the burned-down multiplex that's underwater to watch that movie in 2015. Sure thing, Lionsgate. [eyeroll] Insanity. Anyway, the important thing is that we still don't have a Finnick. Still no Finnick. I think they really might actually be building him in a lab. No human man can play him, so they had to build him. Hurry up already, guys. [Deadline]

Despite rumors to the contrary, Seth Meyers says that he is not considering taking a permanent gig in the chair next to Kelly Ripa on Live!. His exact words? "No, no, no, no, no." So... that's a no then? Guess so. Meyers says that he's too into his current job on Saturday Night Live to leave anytime soon. And that's a good thing. We've got an election coming up in case you hadn't heard, and Seth Meyers writes all the political stuff on SNL that's actually funny, like the Sarah Palin bits from four years ago. (P.S. Four years ago?? Good grief. Where has everything gone?) [The Hollywood Reporter]

The premiere of ABC's new daytime show Good Afternoon America, in which ABC serves everyone lunch and tells them to go sit outside with their sandwiches, improved upon the show it replaced, the bizarre Tim Gunn/Ty Pennington show The Revolution, by 40%. The show, hosted by Lara Spencer and Josh Elliott, had 1.923 million viewers, which is almost twice the population of Rhode Island. So that's pretty respectable. Good afternoon, Rhode Island! [Deadline]

Speaking of talk show ratings, Savannah Guthrie debuted as the new cohost of The Today Show yesterday -- remember how she dramatically replaced Ann Curry -- and the ratings... didn't move. Yeah, Good Morning America still beat them and the numbers tied with those of Ann Curry's last week. So, better not unpack, Savannah. They've got Al Roker in a wig waiting in the wings. Watch out. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Noah Baumbach says that his TV adaptation of Jonathan Franzen's The Corrections, which HBO recently passed on, is probably dead for good. The show starred Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chris Cooper, Dianne Wiest, and Ewan McGregor, so it's a real shame that we're not going to get to see it. Maybe Baumbach can stick it on a Greenberg director's cut DVD or something. Please, Noah? For us? [Indiewire]

Legendary actor Peter O'Toole has announced that he's retiring from the biz at 79. And he still hasn't won an Oscar. Eight nominations, and never a win. And now it's over. Well that's just ridiculous. Someone throw him in a movie and we'll just give him an Oscar for it, regardless of what it is. "And the winner is Peter O'Toole for Battleship 2: More Battleship!" We'd take it. He'd take it. We'd all take it. Just one more, O'Toole. Just one more. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Here is a trailer for Goats, a coming of age sort of a movie about the kid from The Good Wife learning things from David Duchovny wearing a fake beard. Vera Farmiga is the kid's mom, Ty Burrell is his dad, and Keri Russell is is stepmom. He says things like "Goatman says it's about the journey," which is quite hoary, isn't it? "It's about the journey." Who says that in a coming of age movie in 2012? We need new scripts, Hollywood. But yeah, whatever. This looks fine. Perfectly fine.
