We realize there's only so much time one can spend in a day watching new trailers, viral video clips, and shaky cell phone footage of people arguing on live television. This is why every day The Atlantic Wire highlights the videos that truly earn your five minutes (or less) of attention. Today:

It's undeniable that Gotye's "Somebody I Used to Know" was clearly conjured up by some black magic wizard and set loose upon earth to make us feel bad, angry, and act like angst-filled tweens. Thankfully, we have actors Kyle Kaplan and Nick Braun to break that spell:

And finally, we don't know whether to laugh or be riveted by The Onion's Sex House spoof. Listen, we get that it's supposed to be riffing on the exploitative, embarrassing reality television industry. And we'd totally be laughing, if you know, the whole thing weren't so spot-on:
