The first teaser for Anchorman 2 arrived over the weekend attached to The Dictator, and it looks pretty funny! Not as funny as it would have been, say, five years ago, when the world was really clamoring for more of Brick and Ron and the Channel 4 news team. But funny nonetheless. We remain cautiously intrigued, if horrified you get away with saying all this in a non-red band trailer. [via THR]
So last night, a man with a violin got on his roof and charmed shoppers at an unseen Harris Teeter on Kalorama Road here in D.C. To which you say, "Ugh, can't I go anywehre in this life without being charmed by string musicians who just want to make the world a more musical place?" Increasingly, the answer seems to be no. But this impromptu concert was put on by a man named Ness Zolan, who plays at the Kennedy Center, so it wasn't obstreperous: it was art. [via DCist]

On the season finale of Who Do You Think You Are? -- the NBC reality show where celebrities of a certain vintage learn shocking things about their ancestors -- noted Anthony Bourdain antagonist Paula Deen learned that way back when, her family owned slaved. This was a shock to Paula, who said the revelation was like "someone took a bucket of cold water and threw it into my face." Or a ham. [via The Huffington Post]
