Los Angeles' Dead Sara has finally released its debut album, and it has all the snarl and riffage that their "Weatherman" single promised. This particular track blazes by in a bit more than 2:30, and in that brief window singer Emily Armstrong pushes her to voice to the very edge of ragged destruction. Siouxsie Medley's guitar pounds out a steady stream of chunky, aggressive notes, and the rhythm section keeps things tight and nervy. The track lets up a bit, toward the end, but only so it can dial up the afterburners one more time before it wraps. Play this one loud.
