We originally read this as "lose some dough." Which wouldn't have been a problem, because money management includes the risk of a potential loss. But he shouldn't be tossing good money after bad and trying to sell non-Chicagoans on deep-dish crust. Nobody's interested. It's like eating lasagna.
Say what you will about Big Equine, but the industry has never been afraid to reinvent itself. Except when it comes to racing clockwise. That will never happen.
The next time a declinist-type says America has lost its desire to accomplish big things, feel free to bring this up.
