This is a tough question. On one side is every frustrated sixth-grader who has been forced to memorize Civil War battlesites. On the other, everyone who has ever needed a quick apohrism about repeating mistakes. Both have compelling arguments for and against.
We're guessing stories like these weren't what attracted Katie Couric to ABC News. Then again, you never know.
