Chris Brown's image rehabilitation tour hit a snag Tuesday when the singer emerged shirtless and, reportedly, enraged from the Good Morning America studio in Manhattan. The source of Brown's displeasure? This Robin Roberts interview, where she asks him about his two-year old domestic violence case, rather than his new album.
According to TMZ, which broke the news, Brown "exploded in rage" after the interview, "storming into his dressing room and screaming so loud, the people in hair and makeup became alarmed and called security." After allegedly breaking a window in the dressing room with a chair, Brown "confronted a segment producer, got in his face and stared him down" on his way out of the studio." The New York Post confirms TMZ's report about the shattered window, reporting that "part of the window shattered and shards of glass fell onto 43rd Street and Broadway."
It's difficult to see the negative publicity from the incident helping Brown reach his stated goal of selling 1 million albums this week. Then again, as TMZ also points out, Brown could be facing bigger problems due to the tantrum: he's still on probation for the Rihanna incident, and any criminal charges would constitute a violation.
