It must be said--despite my protests to the contrary—that Eagles management may have known something about McNabb. I think pulling him for Rex Grossman (!!) in the last two minutes of the game is bizarre. I think the conflicting explanations for that pulling are even more bizarre. I think working out Jamarcus Russell is more bizarre still.
At any rate, I'm not yet prepared to say I was wrong. But another few weeks like this, and I'll be there. I never pegged McNabb for being lazy in practice.
