In re: My statement that Zabar's is a Mecca of sorts:
Please don't call a kosher food store Mecca. It is, in part, this kind of callous insensitivity to what other people find holy that makes it difficult for me to take you seriously.
You write too much about your Zionism-- and are too willing to take offense when others write things you find offensive about things you find holy-- for it to be appropriate for you to use this cliche. It's stupidly, pointless, insensitive.
