One of the most celebrated songs in American new wave has been co-opted by a conservative advocacy group. It's a 1:41 web video lampooning the president's response to the oil spill and it's set to the tune of Once in a Lifetime by the Talking Heads. Earlier this month, the group Right Change released the video and today it's gaining buzz on right-wing blogs.

While the punchlines in the video are a bit stale ("letting the days go by, play another round of golf")--the fidelity to the Heads' 1981 music video is impressive. The CGI version of Obama exhibits the same manic dance moves that frontman David Byrne did back in the day. Compare the two for yourself:
