Lots of pundits frowned at Time magazine's selection of Person of the Year: Fed chairman Ben Bernanke. It's no surprise that populist Fox News host Glenn Beck joined the dissenters, but his nomination for a replacement was a bit more startling. Beck advocates the tea party protesters--people who attended anti-Obama, anti-government rallies that Beck helped lead and promoted heavily--for the spot on Time's cover.



Beck made the cover himself in September.
