Just so you know where he's coming from. And this is a quote from a speech today to an ultra-orthodox Jewish group in Brooklyn:

"I just think my children and your children would be much better off and much more successful getting married and raising a family, and I don't want them brainwashed into thinking that homosexualtiy is an eqully valid and successful option--it isn't."

Newsday's Reid Epstein tweeted that the following sentence was in the prepared text but was left out in the actual speech:

"There is nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual. that is not how G-d created us."

This in the wake of the Bronx gay-torture case and the recent spate of teen gay suicides. Are there no extremes to which the current Republican party will not just use but embrace?
