I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. This is huge. Yes, if we could get married, we would not need this rule. However, there are people every day affected by this very issue (my good friend who recently passed away was one of them) and I refuse to stand by and listen to gay people act like a bunch of children, screaming "more more more!!" when this man is busting his ass for us. He can't change marriage with the stroke of a pen. This issue, he can.
