In Tehran, street art is part of the resistance. Above is an image that keeps cropping up on the streets - that weird Mayan looking thing, holding Moussavi up. The next generation is desperately trying to prevent the Islamist monsters from genocidal war, economic immiseration and the hideous abuse of a great faith. I keep associating it with the Obama movement - the art, the youth, the desire for change, the innovative use of inormatio technology, the yearning to avoid a clash of religion if we can avoid it. A lovely piece mocking Ahmadinejad is after the jump. More here, whence this came.
